This 1/8 scale Triumph by Revelle is a tribute I built in 2004 to honor a racer I always admired, Gary Nixon, who rode Triumphs troughout his carreer including two national championships in 1968 & 1969. For 13yrs. of his career he carried #9. This is unfortunately the only photo I have left of it as they were all in a cell phone, thus the pour quailty picture. It is mostly scratch build w/ a real leather seat & pillion pad, actual air cleaners cut from a real one I had lying around and virtually every exterior nut and bolt on a 1/1 Triumph 500 pre unit. This model is currently torn apart and I am turning it into a unit const. / Track Master swing armed frame. I spent about three months total building the first pre unit hard tail framed Gary Nixon tribute. This was the first model I had built since I was probably ten yrs. old. I have not done anything towards the new version other than moving the transmission to the engine.
