I re-engineered a Nikko Flashback buggy into an on-road pan car with size dimensions based on the HPI Super RS4 (280 mm WB) just in time for them to discontinue it and the bodies become harder to find and more pricey. I build on a tight budget and make use of lots of scrap materials from making wings out of old aluminum window blinds to making scoops and intakes out of old polycarbonate containers. I also incorporate some aluminum roofer's flashing and corrugated plastic board in order to keep the weight down. Here's a few of my projects.
1. McAllister Jaguar GTP made into a longtail ala McLaren F1
2. McAllister Nissan GTP made into an open top ala the Kremer K8 Porsche
3. Custom Works 9002 IROC Camaro made into an ALMS style GT
4. same
5. My current project - adapting a 1/8 Monogram 65 Vette shell into a custom/GT
