Default My model building room

Just thought you all my like a glimpse into what I call my model building mega center. In the garage I have a 36"x18"x18" down draft exhaust spray booth, which I built. The work bench I constructed out of solid cherry with hand cut dovetails that is capable of handling any vice or tool that you want to throw on top of it.Hope you enjoy the pics.

I've seen dining room sets that did not look as nice as your work bench!!!!

Nothing like having a nice environment to work in.

Beware the lollipop of mediocrity, lick it once and you will suck forever.....!!!

Damn, makes my garage work area look and feel like a dungeon. Must be nice to be able to turn around without worring about knocking everything over. A little background music ,lock the door to the outside world, and forget everything except that few square feet right in front of you.Congrats as I know you had to work hard for what you have there.

Great work on that table, Dano. That's what I call some quality woodwork. You don't see much of that in the stores today.

If I were ever that organized my wife would have a heart attack She keeps comparing me to some character in the Peanuts cartoon.

All kidding aside nice setup!

My wife is way beyond "Pig Pen". Although I prefer to call it "Controlled Clutter". She refers to my full size accomplishments as "Temporary Lawn Ornaments".

I like the table and the joinery! I would love to sit and work on a table like that, only every table that I work at, I end up spilling some glue and there goes the table. My father refinished the kitchen table twice when I was a kid and finally had to buy a new table which I subsequently ruined as well. On a side note. Those are some big rabbits you got there!!!!!
