Hello I have now started a large truck project again ......
It is a Volvo Fb-88 from 1968. I build it up in brass,
and it is also in 1/8 scale.
This time i build a model for a haulier who is also the owner of my previous model. It is the Volvo N88 Gulf tanker in 1/8 scale.
I started up the job in November last year and has now reached this:

Thankyou Klaus. I thought I had missed my chance to reply.

Great work on the F88, very accurate. Many years ago I used to drive a G88, and seeing your build here brings back memories. The photo of the dash makes me think of getting in and going to work.
Are you going to put an engine in?

    Hi Dave.
Well let me take you for a ride up the memory lane.
Here's a little fim where I sit behind the wheel in that particular Volvo that I am building. It is Mr. Bay (owner) filming. We drove on the highwayby 85 km / h with 2200 rpm (very noisy as you probably remember).

Yes I build engine in the model, no RC or electric motor, but a detailed death model engine.

Thankyou Klaus for sharing that video. It sure is a good ride up memory lane. The one I drove had an RTO613, 13 speed Road Ranger (Eaton Fuller) transmission.

Will you be using the Pocher Volvo F16 engine in 1/8th scale? It could be modified to be a TD100.

    Hello.

yes Dave I will use parts from pocher to build the engine.

I show four steps to produce two nappa leather seats for the Volvo. The frame is constructed of brass. The seat cushion is machined from 10mm styrene Volvo Fb-88 1/8 scale .
Stitching on the sides are Black 0.04 mm2
    wire.

One of myfriends in California is searching 8 to 10 truck wheels and tires scale 1:8. He claims that he cannot find any. Is that true? Is there a supplier which could sell him what he is searching?

Modelbyggeren is not online very often, he did make his own tires and there are 4 pocher truck tires on ebay sometimes, real tires are very difficult to find they are all strange RC tires, long times ago there was one in Germany who did make real tires, but can't find him again.
A member ??? got his tires from him, but who.

    I found it: https://www.pistor-modellbau.de/shop/reifen/1-8/
