      hey everybody

for those in the 1/14 scale hobby and wants to add a lowboy to there collection , but cant afford the 1200 and up price tag.

this thread will show a how-too for under 300.00usd using stock Tamiya LOWBOY TRAILER, with fold down goose neck, budget build wheels, tires, suspension and cross members. but once you go into the aftermarket parts, well, that where it will start to get pricey

I bought the alum channels and plate from onlinemetals. they cut the sheets down to what size you want for like 3.00usd

plastics I bought from local hobbie shops or tower hobbies

I used a standard hand saw, drill, knife, 3mm and 2mm taps. for tools

the low boy trailer I looking at is . it has a working folddown goose neck , really kool. ok lets get started

ive started with the suspension and rear frame . I used tamiyas trailer axles and suspension , to stay with the budget use all stock parts

here you need to make the mount from the suspension to the belly of the trailer, put some weight on the chassis , then mark how high you want the trailer to sit of the ground, here I put 6 pounds on it
