        long time guys , 1st wanted to say hi!

        recently moved, im back up and running again

        this is a cross between kit and scatch build . im using parts from different Tamiya low pro tow 1/14 fifth wheel wrecker truck kits , but I am scratch building the tow mech and the knuckle boom

        the chassis , I cut , drilled and painted the rails, ive added stock parts from the truck kits . made some mods here and there




        made the main beam from styrene with a metal stock insert, added a winch from rc4wd


        started on the rear 1st knuckle

      next I start making the low arm, plastic out side , metal inside


      I painted the main


      prefitted the knuckle


      made a valve body and add some plumbing



      made a junction box for under the winch




      add rear bumper and lights


      made some tool boxes with hinged lids from styrene

      I was wondering what the heck happened to you. I always liked your builds. But I shouldn't talk....my workshop has been closed down for almost a year now because we lifted our house and had a new basement built. I'm just about ready to move things back in.
