        Does anyone have any information about a 1:8 kit of a 427 Cobra.

        I think it was made in Germany, and the body was made out of fibreglass.

        It came in a very nice box that looked like a tool box and had trays that would slide out.

      Hi, I think it is from B&G Modellbau GmbH. It seems only 100 kits have been produced.
      Currently one kit is being sold in Switzerland:
      AC Cobra Bausatz 1/8 voll Metall bei ricardo.ch

      I never thought I see another one of these and by the way the body is handmade from aluminum

      ssybrecht Any ideal if the company is still around? I did a Google search and got nothing..

      And could you do us a favor and ask the seller for a scanned copy of the manual. It would be nice to keep on site as reference.

      Found a site with some pics of the B & G Cobra in progress.Fine modelling - AC Shelby Cobra 427 The kit was produced in 1992 and 1993 by B & G Modellbau GmbH, Duesseldorf.
      An edition of 1oo kits was released, so finding one is hard and expensive.

      Wasn't there another company that made a 1/8 427 Cobra kit in the late '60's early '70's??? Those were approved by the man himself.. C.S. from what I've read and only very few kits were ever made..... I could be wrong on the production dates..... I also read that there were like 2.500 pieces in the kit....
