Busy as I am with my client, assembling the Fiat 806 and some Protar motorcycles in 1/9 scale, I couldn't resist buying from a friend the most sought kit of the Lola T 70 Mk lll coupe...

The kit was already begun but with little work done ...Thanks for that!!!....The kit is most complete, every part flawless and even the box is in pristine condition, I was very lucky with this one.....

I managed to dissasemble everything without much destruction and bagged every bit & piece...Now comes the sanding Tamiya's Lola T 70 Mk lll 1/12 scale kit and deflashing part, which I enjoy a lot, besides being a boring stage, it makes me feel like an archeologist discovering something important!

I've googled this kit and there are very few offerings in Ebay, with some prices that knocked me out!

Anyway, here are some images of the kit itself................

I couldn't resist assembling something too, so..............part of the engine bulkhead, after carefully studying the scale hardware locations...

That looks like a fantastic kit. Tamiya Tamiya's Lola T 70 Mk lll 1/12 scale kit always did make some great cars. I just wish they weren't so expensive. I saw a Porche 934 kit they make way back when. It was a reissue and it cost $170. Still it was one of the best model kits I've ever bought. I know you'll do this thing up right. Can't wait to see the finish.

Mario, if you find that you are missing a part or one is beyond use email me. I have one that is started to about the same point as yours. Depending on the item I might be able to make a copy if needed. Ted

That is a great kit. I built one for a local hobby shop way back in the day..1970, when the kit was new. I was only maybe 15 at the time. Box stock Tamiya's Lola T 70 Mk lll 1/12 scale kit buildup, I just clearcoated the blue plastic. I got the reissue that came out in '98. A friend had pestered me for years about selling it to him, so I gave in.... he's botched the suspension and other parts..... Now I'm thinking of buying another one. Enough ramblings.
You are doing a great job with the bolts and stuff! It's inspiring to see. Keep up the good work!
