Hi guys. attached are pictures of the body buck for a 1/8 scale model of Sir Jack's Formula 1 championship car the Brabham BT-24. There will be a run of eight built and they are sanctioned by Sir Jack. Myself and Sean Morgan, ( Modelmaker) , intend posting pictures as the model developes. I hope the process will be of interest.
      Cheers,
      John

  1. Thanks Steve I was a little concerned the dimensions I gave you for the tires were to small but the more I look at it the more convinced I've become, I think they look right .

  5. Long story Tony but yes something like that. I've got another Brabham type build up my sleeve anyway, with this build I don't have to go through all the bureaucratic BS like the Bt24.
Keep an eye out over on F1m for a build blog soon.
For now it's time to finish off the Blower Bentley and then The MV125 before I commit to the Next Brabham Build.

  10. For those following this very slow build I'm going to resume with it as I've sorted out all the behind the scenes problems I've had .
This will not be a fast build by any means due to other commitments so please be patient !

Sean, glad to hear the BT-24 is back on track. Good luck with the build. I also am a fan of the early 60's to mid 70's F-1 cars, as well as the Can-Am series ( Group 7 ) cars.
