The bolt size is 0090. The average bolt size on the intake, heads, water pump, starter, brackets and pulleys is 0.600" measured on the flats, scaled down to 1/8 scale is .0750", the 0090 bolt measures .0770", thats a 2 thousands difference. Less than the thickness of a piece of paper.
I buy my bolts from J.I. Morris Co. they have a website.

I got some more work done on the camaro, finished the exhaust system,
bent up the fuel and brake lines, finished the gas tank and made mounting
straps, installed the shocks, sway bar and links. I'm going to do the wire
harness and do more detail in the engine compartment. Here are some pics
    of my progress.

This is very cool to see progress on. I wish I had the time and skill to do this myself. At least I can enjoy you doing it. :)

    Bill,

    This model is awsome!

The detailing just keeps on getting better and better, are you going to make this model available to the public?

Those wheels are totally outrageous!!! If they don't look real, I don't know what does. Beautiful work, Bill.

Let me know when you kit this. I would love to get one. I'm working on my 1:1 Article: Amazing 1/8 Scale 1969 Camaro Build 69 now and would love to have 1:8 scale version of it.

    Bill,
You were very generous with your comments in my GT40 thread-but I
can only say two words about your project; SHOCK and AWE...

Your multiple skills in machining, engineering, painting-every facet-is way beyond hackers like me. All I can do is admire it and be inspired to try harder.

    Thanks for sharing your gift.

Thanks again for your nice comments! I'm reworking some things,
the leaf springs didn't hold up to the weight so I made a new mold
and cast them with 1/8" wide by .028 spring steel inside the spring.
I also finished making acorn nuts for the torque thrust wheels,
I'll post more pics as soon as I have a little more done.
    Hey duanecr I also have a 1:1 Article: Amazing 1/8 Scale 1969 Camaro Build 69 camaro, it's a project car that I
    probably won't finish.
