To see the evolution of this work of art from nothing, to the state it's in now, and eventually on to completion is amazing! Dan, you are showing us all that if you want a model of a particular subject that doesn't currently exist in large scale, just build it from scratch! Nothing is impossible when you break it down into small enough steps. To say I look forward to each new post is an understatement. This is work of the highest caliber all the way! Keep up the fantastic work!

    Dan,

This build is great and the details are just over the top!

Could you do a tut on how you made the brake flexi ducts and what is the tape material as I could not figure it out based on the photo?

It just keeps getting better and better. It is getting harder and harder to remember this is a "model" and not the real article. Where did you find the research materials to get all this detail? Do you secretly have a GT40 hidden in your garage to gleen so many details that only a real car could reveal? Keep up the incredible work, we're all anxiously waiting, for the test drive! Dan, I find that my vocaulary doesn't contain words that express how impressed I am with this build.
It's pure automotive art in 1/8th scale. Your passion for building shows in every minute detail.
Speaking for Scale Motorcars, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to share with us, you are indeed an extraordinary artist.
