I decided the time has come for me to build yet another 1/12 scale Super Seven, (it has been almost six years since I finished my last one), the only “problem” is I don’t have any more kits of them.
If I counted correctly, this will be my 7[SUP]th[/SUP] 1/12 scale Seven.
So instead of shopping for one, I grabbed a sheet of brass and started cutting, beating and bending.
I am not sure why I started with the hood first, it just seemed like a good idea.

The head lights have been installed and wired. The stems are removable with a single bolt and a plug at the root makes it easy to pull them off for track time.

    The muffler is installed…

Here’s the answer to the most asked question “What is it?” For the first time I can see what it will look like on the road… The windshield is just loosely set on it for posterity and not straight.

I took some advice from a friend and made the finger screws look more like the cheap plastic type to better fit the style of the car.

The floor panels have been installed.

A little more dirt has been added to show it is not a trailer queen…

I made the center caps for the wheels out of aluminum.

It's beautiful! But for me, you've put in so much wonderful detail underneath the body shell - most of which you've shown as close ups, I'd like to see some shots of the whole car without the body to see all that detail in context. Once again, beautiful work.

    Thanks!
The rear body, sides and cowl are permanently attached, but the trunk opens and the hood and nose are removable. So I can't take any photos of the raw frame with running gear at this point.

The windshield and wipers are installed as well as the roll bar.
