Shot this picture of a 1:12 Grand Sport at the Cincinnati Challenge XI model show. I thought it was a particularly good looking power plant.

Wow. Is that engine scratchbuilt or was it put together from aftermarket parts. What a knockout piece of mill. Super sharp!!

You said it Glu. Enzo's Revenge is going to have three Weber four-barrels lined up between the two cylinder banks. Should be wicked good fun.

Great job. And when I see the dual-carbs, I remember, that I wanted to built a Harley with them. Is there anybody who can tell me where I can get such parts.

    Greetings from Germany

Are you sure that isn't a pic of a real car's engine bay?

I'm sure Altster. The entire car was well done, but the engine was exquisite.

I've seen this model in person - its built by Jim Drew (you see his articles in the car model mags quite a bit). Check out his FOTKI pages:

      That's what I'm talkin' about!!! I read the article in SA on that very model and if my memory is right, that's completely scratchbuilt. That's where I want to wind up with my skills. It's inspired me to put down my deuce build and start working on a complete scratchbuild myself. It's not going to be a Vette or a Jag, but It'll be a model I think no one has ever done before especially in 1/8 scale. I'm not going to say what it is yet until I have all the research and blueprints done so I'll know I'll be able to make it. Jim Drew's work is absolutely the best I've seen yet. It's right up there with with the best of them.

I'm not tellin', I'm not tellin'. Rob had the secret color, mine's the secret car and yes, it has four wheels, a D in the name but no O. What is this, Wheel of Fortune.? Hey, that's how you can find out the name. Spin the wrench and give me a letter.
