Thanks Michael-I have adjusted the contrast and brightness of each page and assembled the Entex John Player Special Lotus 72D Manual into a single PDF file. Is there a place on this site where I can upload this file so everyone can get it for free instead of supporting the internet privateers? Can anyone help here?

To date the best-known and bet-rated reference has been Michael Oliver's book "Lotus 72 Formula 1 Icon" which has been out of print for many years but can still be found on e-bay etc. However, in the last week or so Haynes have published "Lotus 72 Owners' Workshop Manual" which has many good photos and drawings. I recommend this for Lotus 72 modellers.

[I][B]Triumphal Arrival of The Glue Bomb !

[/B][/I]The Entex Lotus has arrived and it's an atomic glue bomb ! No worries though, I will be using most of the parts as templates for scratch building. The size and detail is very impressive, and although it is much too delicate as a plastic model (very easily breakable), it should be impressive in brass and aluminum. The manual will be valuable in scratch building this vehicle because the suspension is very complex. I love 70's Formula 1 and Indy Cars because the engines are still exposed, it was a time of intense experimentation and variation, and builders were still using traditional materials such as aluminum and steel in the monocoque chassis.

Doesn't look so bad from here and seeing as all is is to you is a pattern I would say it's perfect. This is going to be an incredible build!
