Another concept car based upon the E-type. This year is the 50 Anniversary of the E-type.

I like it, if it only had 1 headlight. 2 headlights just don't seem to look right.

I totally agree with the creative explorer, but it's a great car and well designed. Love it and want it.

Just a quick rendering in photoshop, I am by far not as good as the swedish dude, but this I think looks just a bit nicer.

I noticed another style-feature that I didn't like and changed that too:

Need to take the bonnet ornament off as well the original only had the word Jaguar on the rear deck lid.

    Don't you just love Photoshop!

I removed both ornaments, so it is as clean as a baby buttock ( after a diaperchange that is)

Yes, I love photoshop, I wish I knew how to use the other 99% of it's capability's. haha

I have to say, as a re-envisioning of the E-Type, the version with single headlights, no badge, and no door coves is probably more faithful to the original E-Type, but for some reason, I really like the original concept as posted with double headlights and door coves. It reminds me of an E-Type mixed with a classic 'Vette. They just go together like strawberries and champagne.

I saw this Jag at the 2000 LA Car Show.
    It was intoxicating!
It should have been put into production but Ford was way to conservative.
They could have sold every car they produced.
    An Australian company recreated it.

G'day Ken, yeah I saw this the other day and I thought it was awesome, and I have to agree it really should have single headlights like the original.

Sigh.. The 1998 XK 180, the E-Type homage that never happened outside of the protoypes.

But you can still own a diecast.

You really have to walk up to this beautiful creation to fully appreciate the proportions and sexy curves. Jaguar missed an opportunity on this one!
