    I agree wirh Herman.
    It was for sure a lot of work. But for my gust not scale and not correct and the price.............
    I have seen better pieces for less.
    But still it is a Mercedes.............

    I agree with all of that. Nice sculpture, but inaccurate detail.

    I had eMailed the seller to enquire if there was engine detail or suspension detail or any chassis detail. The answer was that it is a flat bottom with no chassis detail and it was meant to have an engine but one was never made.

    Even as just a body, it still needs to be painted and the trim parts need to be plated 1:8 300 SL gullwing copper , the starting price is unrealistic and when you think that it also has a reserve the seller is dreaming.

    If you have the time could you request a full set of pictures and details of the builder. It would be nice to retain them in the SMC gallery.
