      Hello to all,

days ago I start to build the Jaguar E Type from Revell Revell: Jaguar E Type, M1:8 in scale 1:8. I´m really at the beginning. I did a lot of researches in the internet about informations of the steering gear. Because there are no steering parts in the original kit. Unfortunately i can´t find nothing about my topic. If somewere there, which can me support in this field. I would be really happy for any information about the steering mechanism.

      thanks to all for help

I found a great source for restoration parts on ebay. Ya, I know, your not building the real thing but just what does that real thing look like. When I build a model, I approach it as a ground up restoration and when it's finished I get in and drive it away.

Thanks Egon and TOMc for your information. With this, I believe I can build a steering mechanism which looks like realistic.

@ Egon: Know you, if ther any chock absorber at the steering shaft down from the steering wheel to the steering gear?
