Just out of curiousity, do you have any info on this gentleman or the kit?

I know that I am sceptical but dang this model looks to be very promising! I do wish there were more info available. Only two things keep me from jumping, the time line seems to me to be impossible (scepticizm) and the fact that if the better half finds out I spent ANOTHER 2k on models (Let alone on one model.) I will be sleeping out in the storage shed indefinately!

I agree it looks good but his way of doing business is rather tricky: he is selling parts without knowing if he will ever finish the whole model. And the quality of the Miura model looks good but if I see this what he sells as a Pocher transkit for the Bugatti I have my doubts

The master model look very promising, but experience told me that the master model is not the actual kit (casting, fitting of the pieces etc.)
And you buy something that for this moment don't exist, and if the steering wheel is a reference for the man's work, a have
serious doubt's about it (maybe is this an unlucky reference for the guy who made the Muira).
And if you look at the homepage of the man, the main picture is the old Renwall and Revell Ferrari 275 (body completely wrong and out of proportion)

But this all says nothing about the looks of the man's Muira, who is great.

  6. Oh my, I guess I just bought an option for this Miura.
Shouldn't have looked the offer up after watching the 24 hours of Le Mans

A few months ago, I already posted his offer here and decided to decline after hearing the thoughts of the community. But now, I have seen his WIP pics and started thinking, this might get to be a nice kit yet. I don't care much for his time line assessment anyway, I know how the prototype business works But I place my trust (and my money) in this project now. I'll keep you updated how the next steps will look like and if I can find the time, I'll do a WIP of the building process.

I hope you get the Miura soon Michael, the sooner you have it, the sooner we can enjoy the build.
    Something to look out for.
    QUOTE QUOTE #10

  10. Hello guys,

I just got the first reply after the purchase from Rossano. He wrote:

"Delivery of the kit Miura still requires some time. Look on my website the
last picture I posted of miura in Gallery Miura.
I prefer to delay delivery because 'I want to make a super detailed kit.
This is my first kit and I want to be remembered as one of the best kits
    ever produced on the market.
I hope to deliver by the end of July, but I believe that deliveries will
begin by early September. I'm working on the original drawings lamborghini
and I want the model is exactly equal to the original car.
All this takes time and effort. I remind you that if you want to cancel
'order I will refund the money of the reservation.
I'm also realizing the jaguar and spider type 1/8 on a monogram. see photos
    on my website."

I think it's good that he gives a more realistic time estimation right away. He also sounds earnest, but unfortunately we live in times when a man's word doesn't count much anymore. Right now, I hope he's serious about the project and pulls it through, and then I'll be happy to be a part of it.
    QUOTE QUOTE #11

  11. Hello again, Rossano asked me to post the latest pics of the Miura here.

I want to keep you updated about the project, but I don't want to abuse this place for advertising. So if you guys want me to stop this, please tell me.

    Mike-
I love seeing the progress of this model. I too have been watching this on ebay for months and was very curious. It is looking quite nice and I hope it is completed and cast equally as well.

A huge improvement over what I saw on his site last week. The body has been highly finessed in subtle ways.
