Just can't help myself. I've got a big pile of styrene Another scratchbuilt cornbinder: S-series daycab , and what the hell, ugly trucks need love, too.

Started by stripping down my Mercedes 1838

Built a structure out of .100 styrene Another scratchbuilt cornbinder: S-series daycab sheet

Added more layers of thinner Another scratchbuilt cornbinder: S-series daycab & thinner Another scratchbuilt cornbinder: S-series daycab styrene Another scratchbuilt cornbinder: S-series daycab , finishing with some .010. The fenders, doors and hood sides were cut in pairs to assure symmetry.

Cut up the headlights from the Mercedes, as well as the inexplicable yellow taillights from the F-350. It's starting to get a "face" now.

More to come, but this is pretty good for two days' work.

With the proliferation of big rigs you've cranked out....perhaps a big honkin' wrecker, flashing lights and working boom is in order.

If anybody is up to that task, it's you Busted. I wouldn't mind seeing one of those either.

  7. I dunno, I've already done the first working RC rollback truck:

But a big wrecker would be pretty cool. Anybody got a spare $1500? Cuz I sure don't.

btw, the Land Rover in that video has been chopped into a pickup now:
