      Hi,

      i begun this car since 2011 : 2CV CITROEN AZ 1956
2CV CITROEN AZ 1956 build from scratch, Scale 1/6-schema-jpg2CV CITROEN AZ 1956 build from scratch, Scale 1/6-2cv-drawing-1-jpg
This drawing coming from : http://www.citroenet.org.uk/passenge...2cv-index.html

It's a special RC car because I want a true reduce car whith a true reduce motor and the remote control must be completly hiden

Why 1/6 scale ? I saw for 1/8 but it's very small for make a nitro fuel motor and a quarter scale I don't like because it's to big

Next time I will show you motor progress

      Denis

0.3mm thick brass is very thin for this scale; on the other side, the steel used for that car was certainly not very thick!

Yes Roger 0.3mm brass is thin but with many ribs like the true scale, it's enought.
After you'll see I have dont made all in brass : as hood, doors and wings
I try to make this car light, the final weight dont exced 7Kg (15Lb)
The steel panels thickness on this car is only 0.6mm

Your Deuche is good looking! I suppose yo are still using 0.3mm thick brass for the body. With my project, at 1:12, I was using 0.4mm thick brass for the body; at your scale, it would be 0.8mm!
I'm just wondering how you are doing the ribs; one after the other or all together? With a die or with a more simpler method?

    Thanks Roger,

I make ribs one by one
Yes all is made with 0.3mm brass sheet but if I compare with you my panel are almost flat, my job is not so fine than your amazing job
All panel solder together are rigid
For make the panels ribs, I use a simply process :
I make tool in a flat steel 2mm and I make the radius manualy
After I put the brass sheet on a wood board and I hammering this tool on this
Second choise for the underside, I open bench vice jaws the thickness tool add the double thickness of brass sheet
Difficult to do more simple but the result is good
