I hate being unorganized. I'm in the middle of painting and weathering Paint Rack the B-26 and I spend half my time looking for the right color paint that I just used 2 days ago. So I spent the week end designing and started building this paint rack to sit on my bench.

Everything has been cut out and dry fit, and I started gluing Paint Rack it together. The red part is a stack on storage container, where I will keep Air Brush components.

I'll post pictures of the complete unit later in the week.

      Cheers

Rob, that looks fantastic I think I might have to make one for myself. About half the size of yours would do, but I would have to screw mine to the bench top as my bench is not against a wall, it sits in the middle of the room. Job well done mate.

I've had the same problem.....but in my case, I've gutted a 9'x12' "spare room" in the house for a new (man cave) hobby room. We have no basements in Florida and the old woman is getting weary of my model stuff all over our shared "hobby/computer" room.

I've pulled up the old sagging floor, got the workbench framed out.....now on to the wiring, shelving, floor covering and all that.
It's a horrible mess right now...but I'll post a few pics of it in progress (just for giggles) if you guys want to see 'em.

I have also divided the screen room in half (wall)...for my larger power tools, painting and stuff that I can't do inside the house.

Now I just have to figure out where I'm going to move the parrots to....they are currently calling the spare room their's.
I'd just give them to someone but my wife calls 'em her feathered kids....she's quite attached to them.

    Hey Tag,

The B-17 is just sitting there collecting dust. I need to finish the B-26 for my friend. Thought I had it under control, but he didn't like all the paint chipping so I had to repaint and reweather. I'm hoping to get back on the B-17 in a couple of weeks.

    Thanks

Well done Rob. That looks excellent. I love seeing other's model shops and man caves.

I now realize I should have been more specific.
