The engine block is made ready according to the package, then with paper mache the curves applied and painted.



Here you can also see how small my model is.

The next is the frame.
this is made of paper lolly sticks
First drawn out through the original photos and from here the frame making.

A small update of my progress.
The frame is so far in place, I am now facing the front fork.

This does look interesting! Thank you for posting the link! On my plate right now is a 1/4th Ford Model A, a 1/4th Alfa 8C 2300 engine, and a 1/12th Voisin "Labratorie" (That one was to have been a quick paper model, but I was convinced to forgo the "paper route", and it will end up being a wood/metal model sort of thing.

In the research mode is a 1/4th Honda CB77 SuperHawk. -I actually have quite enough to start that, but three things at at time!

I do think that I will down-load the Yamaha, just if I want a stablemate for the Honda!

Front fork plus headlight added to the frame.
The model is now starting to take shape.


Unlike the original front fork is movable.





The glass and the lamp in the headlight are made of plastic.
First a mold made a piece of a plastic bench warmed and pulled over the mold.

Another update
Now it slowly starts to look like an engine, frame is ready engine is in place, battery box plus battery and chain with chain protector is placed.

What type of glue are you using? How long to dry? And on the forks, do those bellows,(springs) work?

I think this is a very interesting way to make a model!

-and, like most models, I think the effect of the model will be greater than the sum of its parts!

ordinary holding glue
bellows do not work paper is not flexible

So even an update, a week had no time.


The tank was the most work this time I made it 3 times until he liked me,
I also point out that I have scaled the model, then the fit is more accurate.

Looking very good! -it is hard to believe its paper!

Have you seen the work of Pere Tarrago? He has been at it a bit longer than most of us, and he has the capacity to work in metal. And like your work, he has created many satisfying models. (He works in 1/5th scale for the most part)
