I have been away off and on from my styrene Tamiya 1/6 1975 Fxe Harley Superglide Completed hobby due to health issues, I am feeling really great now, I am back to modeling full tilt, I have finished this kit finally.
I removed the black paint, and painted the bike a deep metalic blue.
All the satin alumium was stripped, Alclad Tamiya 1/6 1975 Fxe Harley Superglide Completed high polished aluminum was used.
I am happy with the results, I didnt like the amf decals. so I removed them.
      Thanks for looking.

Welcome Back in the hobby. Nice and clean built. I like the deep blue color.

I'm glad to see you're feeling better. That bike is outstanding off the scale. First rate doesn't even begin to cover it. That looks so real, it's absolutely obscene.

Randy - that is a beautiful build. Congratulations.

By the way - the folks who bought the 1:1 Tamiya 1/6 1975 Fxe Harley Superglide Completed scale bikes back in the day didn't like the AMF stickers either, but removing didn't seem to do any good!

    Nice work.

Thanks Andy for the great comment, I had read that this bike had serious issues, it was rearend heavy, and the frame bolt would snap off because of the weight?

Guys, plain & simple...when AMF took over control of HD the quality went down the tubes.
They tried to increase production and sales at the expense of quality.
I've had Harley's most of my life but I avoid those dark days like the plague.

It got to the point where HD was pretty sad indeed.
When the Harley folks were able to take the company back over everything got straightened out.

Randy, nice score on the 750 Honda, I built one back when they first came out as I owned a full size 750 at the time. The individual link and roller chain was quite pretty exciting back in those days...I really enjoyed that kit. They are kind of difficult to find these days and expensive when they do pop up on eBay.

    Hi Don

The Honda CB750 as reissued last year, it still is easy to obtain,
