I knew it would happen sooner or later....I came across this photo in a Jan.
'07 issue of Hot Rod and just had to post it.

1937 Bugatti four door. The interior wood bracing has been replaced with stainless steel tubing, the A pillar laid back 12 degrees, metal roof welded in, fenders have been widened and running boards added.

    Power?......... '04 Caddy CTS-V.
Who sez you can't Hot Rod a Bug?

It does not look like an original Bugatti body has been used. The radiator has flutes, which could also be found on the Royale. (however, a Royale radiator is 50% larger in height.)

The body looks like a T50 Surprofile, but then again less dramatic.

I will post it on the Bugatti forum, see what happens...

I hope the owner has intentions to finish the rod and not leave it in a ratty condition. At least, as Herman points out, it's not 100% original so it's not too much of a crime to hot rod the thing.

Do you need a complete body. Ive cut up so many that all I have left is sections. OR..... Ive got a 3 window thats not good enough for even a 2nd. The lower section of the body is fine.
