also is anyone interested in helping me out(i can throw a few im not rich but can do something in terms of a few bucks or parts or a combo) if i send them the frame,a 9" rear and the floor boards can someone narrow the frame, make the mounts, and narrow and build a set of wheel tubs on the floor board of a deuce? i know its a tall order but i figured if someones go some free time and would like a project and a little cash.

im not that experienced ive only done builds using the stuff included in the kit. i can paint very well,do body work good(models and fullsize) but other then that its a little outside my comfort zone

You need to start building a project and when you get into trouble, post pictures of what you want and someone here will walk you through it. Its hard for one of us to put a price on what you want done and that, compared with the time loss and cost of postage does not make it worthwhile for you to farm it out.

got ya. im just super nervous about cutting up a fresh deuce kit and kicking myself in the ass lol since like i mentioned i only have a little ebay side work due to the wheelchair not fitting in most open jobs in my area/really bad back limiting the amount of hours i can work.

i might not tub it out(see below)

rick i apprecitated the parts you helped me out with in the past. do you have any of the stuff i need(ill pay for the parts + shipping or trade if i have something you could use)

what do people use for 4 link rods? styrene tubing? or is brass better?

also im deff going to do the big t in a 60s/early 70s style blown street car
but on the deuce im interested on hearing peoples idea's on which direction people would like to see in a step by step build. choices are

pro street full fendered car or rear fenders only
    pro touring full fendered car
    high tech fenderless car
60s full fendered drag car/or high boy drag car

or any other ideas? id love to do a 32 pickup but i feel nowhere near able to scratch build everything.

I prefer telescoping aluminum tubing for my 4-link rods. I pinch (flatten) the ends and then drill them out for a semi-believable and functional rod end.

I like what you have planned and look forward to seeing your progress.

I'm super excited my stuff finally came in after waiting on an echeck to clear and figuring out a deal with the guy. Since I'm on a super tight budget from only income coming in is from ebay(wheelchair I currently have is to wide for most local jobs.) I should be able to sell a few things yet still have the stuff I really wanted so I'm super happy.

I got complete new white big t the one with the fat radial t/a's
Semi complete pe62 with some of the parts I need
a complete resin blower that I'll use in my build although I'm still looking for a real one(if you have one post or pm me ) which I have plastic injectors and manifold
Big drag headers (were they exclusive to the big drag kit)?

I still haven't decided on a color but am leaning towards a pea green, bright Daytona yellow or antifreeze green but not sure any ideas?

I'll post pics once I start any help with the question on the paint and headers would be appreciated

    update with a couple questions.
I picked up a can on rustoleum ivy green I'll be testing later
I got primer and chrome paint on the hooker headers from the pe62 kit I'll grab pics in a few.
I'm getting ready to shoot primer on the useable resin blower pieces and the real plastic manifold and injectors will be spraying chrome and for the manifold flat aluminum in a few. I have some resin questions see below

I REALLY hope someone has a blower case with end plates & scoop they'll sell or trade and id prefer a whole minus manifold and injectors pm me if you have one

I'll have pics of the block and engine stuff later on

Im not very experienced working with resin so I've got a few questions
What should I use to fill pin holes regular bondo/full size car putty ? for plastic i use this great epoxy putty loctite makes that drys hard as a rock although its hard to sand
also for glue is regular super glue like I use for plastic ok?
Any special prep needed or can I clean dry and shoot primer ?

    Thanks
