Hi there, does anyone know where I can find a tool like this please? Is this a homemade tool, or something readily available online? Thank you for your assistance! Jalfa.where can I find this tool please?-dsc_0371.jpg

    Jalfa,

This is a contour duplicator. I have seen these in good hardware stores or DIY centers, maybe even Harbor Freight. Carpenters use them to duplicate wood molding trim for match cutting. I use to own one until the kids got a hold of it when they were small and pulled out the rods and then they were everywhere.

I have had a couple of those in my life. Ace hardware has them.

I think I got mine through Harbor Freight. The first one I had fell apart but it was definitely defective. I now use the old rods for pipes and thick wiring.
