      Hi
      Im scratch building this 1920 model motorboat that ifound some free plans for.
      So far I have built and planked the hull.Im having some fun working with wood !

    Beautiful wood work. I still want to try something like that with an aircraft.

    Haha Balsa it is.
    Actually the whole thing is balsa
    Easy to work with ,but so very fragile, ive broken more than a few bits,but im not sure i have the patience to try and cut all the small parts out of ply using a tool ?

    A little bit of progress so far !
    The pic of this boat is a little different from the plans ihave ,but as im scratch building its not a big problem as i can make this to suit myself

    Very nice work Chris. It's been years since I've built a boat like that. It has some very graceful lines to it. Are you planning any interior detail for it?

    Hi ,Not really too sure about the interior as ive found it hard to find some pics of what is actually in there ,hehe.
    Here is a few pics of progress to date, about 90% complete i think.
