This is my first posting, other than an introductory. The Sopwith arrive last Thursday and I have been getting orginized since then. I have some optomitrist nuts & bolts (for glasses) but as small as they are they appear to be too large for the Clerget engine. I want to order the correct sizes from Scale Hardware but I am unsure of the sizes.
I have filed away the casted nuts on the crank case cover and tried to document my progress but my camera doesn't seem to be capable of close-ups.
As you know any help would be appriciated.

      Thanks
      Dale

Does your camera have a "macro" setting?

I got the book out for the camera and sure enough it does have a "macro" for close ups. I never had the need to do close ups before so its new to me. I guess I will be posting some pics when I get something worth taking pics of. Right now I'm stuck on getting the engine going.

    Thanks Don.

Going slow. Working on drilling the hole for the nuts & bolts from Scale Hardare. Nothing to take any pics of yet. The rest of the time I spend on research on the engine, at this point. I do have some questions about that odd looking vale spring, on the exhaust I think, as far as it's placement goes.
I did find these very good schmatics of the Clerget if anyone is interested.
