I've been building for years only in 1/24 and 1/25 scale. I build hot Hello all rods and pro-street cars. I just bought a 1/8 T Bucket kit and want to put a Blower on the motor. Does any have one for sale or now where I may find one. Looked on EBay for a long time no luck.

Welcome Willys41 to our new forum. Its a great place to get all the info you need but just be carefull of HFC. I hear he eats his crayons.

I'll have blowers and tons of other parts soon but until I can catch up with making molds the best place to get them is Edeuce.com Mikes a nice guy and the blower he offers is a recast of the original Big Drag blower.

Feel free to post photos of your progress. Please send in shots of your other stuff. I will be happy to add them to the "other Scales Gallery" Again Welcome to ScaleMotorcars.com :D Daniel

LKkjdywe djhfue jj Ptoooey. Excuse me, I had to spit out some crayon residue. Ah.! Now I can speak.. Welcome to the forum. You're going to love building in 1/8 scale. The amount of detail you can put into your larger models is amazing. It will hone your skills like crazy. At least it did in my case. I learned so much from the guys on this site that it's like going to model grad school. Enjoy.

I'll have to try crayons. I used to eat "Elmers" as a kid, but never tried crayons. Any color you reccomend for the best flavor?? :) ;)

Stay away from the metallics, they tend to rust in between your teeth.

I highly recommend the cooler colors , the blues and greens as they present with a milder but yet still mischievous bouquet. The pastels seem just a bit too bland and yet too sweet for the discerning palate. The oranges and reds just give me too much heartburn. Makes me burp.   I'll be seen next week on Iron Chef as I cook up my special blend of dessert crayons with a cheese-Elmer's side dip. Very very hip especially in the more exclusive elementary schools.

I like to watch the Iron Chef. My personal favorite would be the Burnt Sienna with the Yellow Orange with the Mandrin Duck. Forget the Blue Green with the Squid. Even with Chinese Mustard it's too bland. Keith Scoviak. :p

Ah, I see a gourmet here. I agree with your choice of condiment for the Mandarin Duck however, you did not add the Wasabe to the blue green combo which does add much spice and fun to the mix. Hey Dan, we're sorta bein' bad here but ain't it just fun. This is not only a great place to learn modeling but a great place to relax, unwind after a stupid day at the day job and have a little fun with good friends. Too bad we don't live near each other. The wives would go completely nuts with us and Sears would definitely sell out of their garden shed stock.
