Hi my first thread to post my new project " Munsters Dragula Car" I will be doing The Coach after I get a good start on the Dragula.

This Rod was by far my most favoured of all Rods back then next to the Coach and The Boot Hill Express (BTW when done with both Munster cars I will be doing The BootHill then.
I'm also as needed doing The 289 Ford Cobra Engine for both builds so I hope to get molds done of all engine parts and as well maybe rear tires too.

I will start with plans which is chassis based on 25th scale model I have built.

I will try to post weekly as I dont have internet where I live so I use the Public Library.
Thanks For looking Gary K

Hi Got a few things done on engine block carved back of block and finished outer front of block just need to carv out timing chain area and in rear the inside of bell housing on back of block. I also ruogh carved lifter valley area and will be putting the lifters in the valley in a few days.

Did a bit more work on setting ride hight for front and rear and set frame on cradles. I also show the "Firestone" I mastered on side of this older styled drag slick. Sorry my camera isnt so good for details so I put chalk on the Firestone letters. I also added for kicks some flat black paint to the tire. They are both in rough still as I need to do more fine putty Dragula 8th scale work.

Here are the new pics for today
Thanks for looking

I was about to say it's "hookie and it's kookie" but then I remembered that is the Adam's family. Oh well, guess I'll have to just stick with "cool man!"

Hi, here is a little more progress on the 289 cobra Ford engine I'm mastering for this Dragula Munster's build and The Munsters Coach I'm going to start at the end of this build. In these pictures I have done some cleanup on the block and started to rough the bell housing. Iv'e used renshape to make bell can. I had foregotten how nice this material is to work with.

Thanks for looking

Thanks Mike hope your feeling better. looking forward to seeing your dragster as well.
I'm also looking for pictures of close ups on the casket trim for this wild Barris Rod. If anyone is reading this and can help I would love pictures that show better detail of the casket trim. Thanks in advance.

Hi sorry for the delay but this part called the Timing cover/water pump was a beast to fab up yikes...
I have to redo the pump part as I got the pump water pipe in the wrong place and it hits the Harmonic balancer so long in short I have to do the part that took the longest to fab up....lol. but at least I have a working model and all the holes are done so I won't need to do drawings for this *NEW* part.

I have the Transmission and tail stock done in rough needing details and shifter gear. I am waiting for my fastners to come in. so most parts are *PEGED" I also need to order a good 00-90 Dragula 8th scale thread die. I will look today online. I also have the Dragula Casket Plans done so now I can make accurate layout as to engine trans and room for the Radiator.

BTW Don I was looking at your Pictures you sent of the heads you've sent me and I noticed the one with the metal rule shows 1/2" between each head stud on centered mine are 9/16" on center so not far off I would say and I've crunched the numbers based on the 4"standard stock piston for the 289 cobra and with your heads the piston cylinders would have "0" wall space between each cylinder based on the picture you've sent. Since I drew mine on CAD I gave my cylinder walls 1/16th thickness bewtween each cylinder. So I think the correction to the heads will be minor based on your pictures.

Thanks for looking Gary K

Hi to all those following this post.

I've done the master for the wheel used for the first Dragula the wheel is called;Radir tri ribs and here is the roughed out master for my 8th scaled Dragula. I will put this into rubber as well for resin Dragula 8th scale
copies.

As said in last weeks post I made an error in the water pump so I had to make a new one and this time I used more realistic ribbing for it and corrected the water flow from right side for this new part in picture shown here. I also show the pump that was wrong side the of water flow(left side) and sorry for the bad pictures if you copy them to your coputer and blow them up a bit you might be able too see some of what i'm saying.
I have detailed the transmission and the bell housing and tail stock I only need to wet sand Dragula 8th scale now. In a few pictures I show pullies and balancer they are rough and will be sized for this engine.I hope to receive the heads this week so I can then work to mating them to the block and then on to the intake Manifold "cross Ram" duall carb.
Also in these pictures you might see head on block with "M/T"valve cover well this is only for mock up as they are just roughs and not intended for this engine. This week will be busy so may not be posting for next week we shall see. stay tuned.....lol and be well.
Thanks for looking
