This could go in the Scale RC section, but since there's no radio gear in it I'll drop it in here.

As usual this build started by accident. I was looking around the LHS Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer) and came upon a pair of tires that looked like 1/10 scale street radials. My scale muse whispered in my ear "Airstream trailer" (actually it was one of my crawling buddies, damn him). So we talked about how cool it would be to carve up a big block of pink foam into an Airstream. Then I remembered how much fun I had building the slide-in camper and decided to do a full-detail build.

This is where I am right now after one night of slinging styrene Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer) . Eventually it'll be weathered inside and out like a 40-year-old trailer. But I gotta build it first!

And I did buy two pair of tires so the Airstream will get built eventually.

I would love to see this one built!!!!!! Go for it OBH. I can't wait until you weather the inside. It's amazing what you'll find lurking around a 40 year old trailer.

Mouse traps, old pizza, crushed beer cans. A veritable plethora of folkish debris. It sounds sort of like an archeological dig when you open the door.

  6. Lime green should clash nicely with the Harvest Gold I have planned for the appliances.

Now you're talkin'. Are you going to put some of the bird poop on the top? Don't forget the dishes in the sink and the plugged up toilet.

Don't forget the burn in the counter top from the Sunday night leftovers surprise and a the cigarette burns from those afternoon naps.

Tell me your going to make a few of those folding aluminum chairs to hang off the empty tire rack...

Crap, where did that one go?
