This could go in the Scale RC section, but since there's no radio gear in it I'll drop it in here.

As usual this build started by accident. I was looking around the LHS Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer) and came upon a pair of tires that looked like 1/10 scale street radials. My scale muse whispered in my ear "Airstream trailer" (actually it was one of my crawling buddies, damn him). So we talked about how cool it would be to carve up a big block of pink foam into an Airstream. Then I remembered how much fun I had building the slide-in camper and decided to do a full-detail build.

This is where I am right now after one night of slinging styrene Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer) . Eventually it'll be weathered inside and out like a 40-year-old trailer. But I gotta build it first!

And I did buy two pair of tires so the Airstream will get built eventually.

Whatcha gonna throw down into the sink, OBH? Those are fantastic water stains on the kitchen wood. Don't forget the plunger for the can.

Now that's the OBH we all know. Man that can is disgusting. Looks like the owner had an overflow problem.

... but Aluma Seal is better

For God's sake do I have to clean everything around here?

To go with what is on the table, you need a half eaten package of cookies...

I need to run to the craft store and raid the dollhouse aisle. Fr now I'm making what I can because a: it's more fun and b: they don't have bongs.

Raised the ride height 1/2 inch

Big propane cylinder for those extended stays

    Made the door...

    ... and it opens

Groceries in the overhead cabinet, dirty dishes in the sink

Taillights (still unpainted) are Novak crystal covers.

It gets real dark in there with the roof on, so I may light it up and hide the battery in here.

Did the owner of the trailer sneak the good dishes out of the house? Reason I ask, is I was just taking my vitamins and saw that the thin foam cap seals might make good disposable plates. If he gets caught with those good dishes he may be living in the trailer in his own driveway.

Good eyes there, Nortley. The craft shop's selection turned out to be a bit disappointing. For one thing they didn't have any mice or rats. I guess I don't shop like a typical dollhouse customer.

Pretty sure I can make some by heating & stretching some sprue Let's go camping....again (1960's Aloha travel trailer) , though. While I'm at it I should make some forks & spoons.
