My pal Chuck Darnell recently entered his 1/8th scale model of the Uncertain "T" in the KC slammers model contest.......he walked away with the large scale first place trophy.
He scratch built Uncertain "T" the body and upholstered the interior. The Buick Nail-head was created by Tony (AJ Wheels...... TDR Uncertain "T" Innovations) & 3-D printed.

Thought you might like to see a few pics...........
These first 3 are "in production" photos, the rest are the finished model and the show.

Allow me to chime in !.. yes they are hand laced.. I couldn't find any kit supplied spoke wheels to suit my fancy so I bought a set of Arizona Aircraft wheels then heavily modified the center hub to replicate a motorcycle type wheel hub... The front tires are 8th scale Triumph cycle tires that were sectioned then rejoined with "3M "Window Weld" urethane Uncertain "T" ..

I can remember building the Monogram Uncertain T way back in the 60's. I still have the photo from the box top!
As far as I can remember, I have never seen it re released since then. Perhaps in the States but not here in the UK.
Chuck's scaled up scratch build Uncertain "T" is superb!

Would like to know how to get hold of TDR Uncertain "T" for a copy of that nailhead and '55 trans. I'm working up a 1:8 scale version of Tommy Ivo's T bucket and the nailhead was what he used too. Thanks.
