Had some time today after a long spell of not building..Actually planned to work on the Coupe a bit but its under glass and my son and wife are gone for the weekend (2 man job to get that glass off the table) Soooo....I dug out a flat head block and my Ardun parts from "Big John"and started building...Used 8 of the injectors and stacks ,and a bell housing and tranny from the V-12 kits....Came out pretty sweet..Still have fuel block and lines to do as well as the fuel pump and drive system...Ill be using a mag also .. ill have to make an adapter for that as well..Here is what I have so far
Not sure what ill do with it but it will go into something at some point..

Very nice engine Michael. A rail in brass would be quite a good thing to watch you build, and it would save me from trying my hand at brass for a bit longer. I'm still comfortable with plastic for now.

Thanks David..Sorry to hear about your mishap ... hope things heal quickly...I saw your post on spinellis thread..sitting in view of the bench and not being able to work is cruel punishment Once I got bit by the scratch building bug I figured the next addiction would be brass..So..Im going to dive in and see how it goes..

Hi Mike, great job on the mini beast. That would look good in a fuel altered too. Wish there was a Fiat in 1/8 That would Rippp!

The chrome looks great on the rocker covers and injectors. Testors? I've been toying with using a 1/8" belt to drive the water and fuel pumps on the belly tanker... Speaking of which, I think I read on one of the forums that there was a fiberglass tank available some where. Any leads?

Great to see the products being used. Much Thanks Guys

I believe the Madd Fabricator makes a glass belly tanker..Might try a PM to him ..If no reply I have his email..Actually the silver is Duplicolor "Chrome"..not bad if applied correctly... just dont handle for a couple of days The last coat should be as wet as you can make it with out over doing it if you know what I mean .. really lays a shine.....Im also looking into the belt and pulley system for all the flatties and others ...Comp sent the web address for what he uses... still researching those...I would love to find a 37 fiat..my dad ran one with a blown 392 back in the day ...early to mid 60's all around the so cal strips ... It was called the "Bad News Coupe" those were the days...So dude ..Any new power plants in the wings? I wish some one made a 300 six with all the bells and whistles.. hint hint ...I think hopped up six bangers rock...
