Hot
Rod 1961 Annual. This is what I want between Chevy engine and Ford transmission.

Chevy engine from Big T with Ford transmission from Big Deuce. Deuce's adaptor from Pontiac engine to Ford transmission was cut away, now Chevy flywheel cover needs to be reshaped to resemble Aluminum trans adaptor.

side view, flywheel area is filled with Ave's Apoxie putty
so high spots will be filed or ground away.

removed portion compared to new trans setup shows shifter position will be approximately the same.

floor template made of paper by copying Big Deuce floor and then trimming to fit. Seat needs to be raised and moved forward slightly. Front of K-member is just where floor angles up.

Holes for pedals, steering are same spacing as Big Deuce but moved slightly to right (approx 1/8 inch). Angle is slightly more than 45 degrees.

Still haven't glued frame yet because it looks too long from engine front to front axle. Need to figure out where radiator will sit and then axle location will be set.

Most everything is stuck together with rubber cement right now. But there were so many questions about where to locate things it is hard to figure out which thing needs to be located first because other things depend on where this thing goes.
Anyway, now I can locate the K-member and start making pedals for the brake and clutch.
Still haven't opened the door because I still haven't gotten a good looking hinge soldered but that should come with more practice. I am wondering how to attach it to the body, I am leaning more towards a non-functioning hinge and then cutting the door just to make it look operational. Both hinges have to be in a vertical line to work and there is no straight vertical part of the T body.
