I am really enjoying this flathead build, a lot! I am already thinking I'm going to need an Ardun head version, blown or injected...both...one of each perhaps? I know there will be a 1:6 Lincoln V12 with flatheads and a blown multicarb setup, maybe an Ardun head version of that alos? I do like the engine building the most...might have to sell this one off to fund the next.

Sarge....the forum on-line filter won't let you use the title you've chosen because it has a word in it that's on the "shouldn't be on a family site list". Could you change your title?

Don, tried to change it twice now and it is not cooperating. I got into edit post, is there another way? I might have to delete this thread and start another with a different title.

Yeah Sarge, there's another way.......quit hammering on the key board & tell me what you want it to be.
You can't change it but I can.....you see, I tip toe thru the tulips with the magic wand sugar plum fairy's........in other words, I'll have to change it on my end, you have no access to the control panel.
I've got a lot more bells on whistles on my screen. If you look at your thread you'll see I've already changed it from what it was.

Been toying with the idea of an Ardun head but haven't been feeling really great for a couple of days so haven't done much. Was feeling a bit better yesterday and was planning to do some work but then I got assaulted on my way out of church...no, I am not kidding. That kinda blew the afternoon mood but I can tell you of one stupid crackhead that wishes he never tried to pick on a broken down old MARINE!!

Up early this morning, got some good sleep in last night so let's see what today brings!

Yep, I am doing well. Got a chance to get out of life for a few days and jumped on it. Stopped enroute to see a friend and that turned in to nurse a friend through a thump-n-bump that resulted in a busted finger and knee. I am well but about 2.5k miles from my models and that is starting to drive me a bit batty!

DAMN! Turns out my friend banged herself up bad, getting a brand new knee next Wednesday so it looks like I'll be here for another 3-4 weeks. OY!

Well I sure wish I would have brought stuff to work on. I have the oilnpan, water pumps, timing cover and one head done. I have built an Ardun head but not the valve cover. The block is ready for paint and I am ready to get back to building!

Airdrop maybe but the last time I jumped out of an airplane a sniper put a bullet through my right hip. That kinda sucked!
