      Hey guys:

I was walking throught the toy section of Walmart the other day and I spotted something that looked interesting. I found this game called "Luigi's Tire Tower Game". It has 10 rubber tires in it that you have to stack together to win the game.

Well, I got to looking at the tires and thought "These tires just might fit our TDR Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires rims". So I bought the game for $6.00, figured at the very least my kids would have another christmas present.

Well, I brought them home and......They fit perfectly!! No modifications at all.

Now they aint the best looking tire. They are very low profile. But if you want your newest rod in the weeds, these may help. An heck for $.60 each they aint bad.

I measured them and they speck out to a 255-35-16 tire size in 1:1 Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires world and measure out at 1.28 wide, 2.64" outside diameter, and a 2 inch rim hole.

Here are some pics. The first pic is for an unaltered tire straight out of the game box with our rims inserted. The edges are a little sharp on the tread

The remaining pics are after I knocked the corner of the tread off with some sand Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires paper and scuffed the tread some

Hopefully someone my find this useful

Oh, and here is another tire that will work with the TDR Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires rims in addition to the stock Deuce tires.

I was talking to a friend of mine about how I needed some big 1/8th scale tires for this trike I am working on. He told me that he had a model of an 1/8th scale trike.........the name escapes me right now........but I think it had the corvair (sp?) engine in it.

He gave me the tires and I brought them home and found that I just had to take about 1/16" off of the inner lip on the rim seat of the tire to make the TDR Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires rims fit. I still need to taper the edge of our rim to make it seat better but it is very workable.

These tires measure out at 2.125" wide, 3.3" outside diameter, and 2 inch rim hole.

So with a little modification TDR Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires 's rims will fit these tires too.

I think they look pretty good, Tim. It's amazing sometimes where you find stuff to build with. I found more incredible stuff outside of the box than in the kits themselves.

Those other tires I posted in the second listing......could they be from a kit called "Evil Iron"? That seems to ring a bell in my dusty ole brain.

    Does anybody know?

Those tires look like they're from the Revell Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires 1/8 Corvair Formula Trike. There were a couple other versions of that trike that were all the same except for a slight alteration in the body. They're all pretty scarce and get expensive on ebay.

If you have a Big Lots discount store near you, check their game isle for the Luigis Tire game. I picked one up a couple weeks back for $4.99 but never had a chance to expirement with it yet. Thanks for the heads up Tim. Now that I know they'll work, I'll be heading back to pick an extra set up.

If these Luigi tires become popular, I will have to put up a separate listing in the TDR Cheap Low Profile 1/8th Scale Tires catalog for the rims to fit them.
