Just wanted to post a couple of "SPY" photos that were recently taken in the 'Ol MF man cave. Yup, the Anglia lives and is shaping up real well. Next comes finishing up the main body and adding some minor detailing.
A BIG THANKS goes out to Tim for helping to make this happen. He is the brains behind getting this body into the Rapid Prototyping Anglia Gasser realm, via his awesome computer modeling. Just so you know, this is an all brand new version of the body and NOT a copy of someones else work. This body will be as accurate of a body that has ever been offered in 1/8th before. As soon as I've finished the minor details required to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd, I'll be creating molds and producing it in fiberglass ( sorry, but no resin Anglia Gasser cast here). I'll announce at a later date when it's ready for production.
Production will be for the body only. TDR Anglia Gasser is presently working on a pro street style chassis which should be easily adaptable to this body.
Stay tuned for more.

All I did was flesh out the computer model that Dan Palatnik made. Dan P is the one we really need to thank. Here is his web site. Take a look at it, there is a lot of nice cars and boats posted.

The Digital Garage Project

Dan is probably one of the best 3d car modelers on the planet today and it was through his generosity (sp?) that this project sprouted legs.

THANKS DAN!!!!

Way to go Zimm. Boy the lines look really crisp and clean. You can tell you have taken a lot of time finishing this baby out. I can't wait to see the rest of the body!!!!!
Beware the lollipop of mediocrity, lick it once and you will suck forever.....!!!

Wow, that looks great MF. Can't wait to see the progress of the body.
What with the new Cuda body happening, what you are doing MF and the TDR Anglia Gasser stuff. As well as the model companies 1/8th offerings. I think we are entering what could be considered the 'Golden Age' of big scale modeling. And I think this has come about by this great site and it's gathering of talented and dedicated big scale model builders. We all learn something from each other here. We gain confidence and we have the memebers that are able to support Dan in his purchase of the Cuda molds as well as providing customer base and place for sellers to show case their wares, to not just us but to also browsers of this site.
Thankyou to you all.

I must appologize for unintentionally not giving a BIG THANKS to Dan Palatnik who resides many miles South of Kansas. ( must have had an 'Ol Timers' Moment). Dan was intrumental in doing the actual 3 dimensional graphics to create the Anglia.
As Tim says he is by far one of the GREATEST 3D car graphics gurus around. His skills are greatly appreciated for helping this project come to life.
By all means check out his web site, you won't go away disappointed with what you see.
Again thanks Dan and Tim !!!!!!

I've seen Dan P's work and I think he's one of the best in the business. I hope he knows how much we appreciate what he does.
