I purchased this about a month ago and I am really pleased with the quality of the kit. As usual I have a habit of not building as comes out of box, here is problem. I have asked several people to respond to a request for hop-up parts, ie: carbs and manifold for twin carbs, and did see a thread for just such. But so far no one has responded. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might find these items or what ever is available to soupe this ole gal up!Rick

I haven't seen anything. I can help you with correct plug wire and hardware but as far as I've seen nobody has aftermarket parts for this.

Now one option may be to ask the guys from TDR Hawk 1:6 Flathead to scale up some RP Hawk 1:6 Flathead parts. Might be a start.

Thanks Frank, went there and made a offer. Waiting for a answer. I am not that interested in heads, but do want the manifold/carbs. Will make this kit into a period souped up Flathead. Now to decide on a color.T:u*****

Parts paid for! You get alot for the buck and will use all the parts to build a Show Rod Engine. That way I will use all the great parts that come with this kit. I also hope to get the same parts in 1/8th f/a Deuce build I am putting aside for building. I will post photos soon of the parts:;';;';Rick

Just a quick note about the parts. Resin Hawk 1:6 Flathead and some of the best casting Hawk 1:6 Flathead I have ever seen done. The details/texture just pops @ ya. You get a generous amount of acorn nuts and the carbs/manifold are just works of art. Now as far as the heads (got it right that time) they are crisp, holes drilled f/spark-plugs and locations f/acorn nuts. Amount paid was small compared to what others charge and I for one give these hop-up parts a. You know every now again you make a purchase you just feel good about, this was one of those! By that I mean, sometimes what we order from the net looks good and you want, then when you get, oh boy what a let down Not these little jewels. With all that said, if you want to take the Hawk FH V-8 beyond box stock Hawk 1:6 Flathead , then if possible, get your hands on a set of these parts. I asked the guy if possible to get in 1/8th, sadly the answer was no. Rick
