im starting this post to show the progress on the big t 3n1 i should have here by tuesday. I have done one large scale model before this and i figured out what not to do on that one lol.
im going to shoot me a 60s style and it will be built with the bed. What ever i dont use ill have up for sale so when i get through the parts ill list up what i have and hope you guys can give me some guidence to what its worth. so far heres what i have ordered
      big t 3 in 1 kit 85$ 8 shipping
hilborne injection setup with brass stacks(will be getting painted) $26.00
resin big t build up corvette valve covers that im hoping dont need much clean up
a member is going to get back to me about if he has a blower set up but if that does not happen the hilborne will be used if its not i will use it on the next one.
look for updates starting right when the kit comes in
the stuff im still looking for is,
m&H Racemaster slicks it sucks they dont have the writeing in the new kit.
prostreet style tires such as off the golden t
golden t headers the plating doesnt matter they are going to be modded
im sure ill think of something lol

Great color and great interior treatment. I love cobalt blue.

thanks at first i was iffy on a mettalic for the interior but then i remebered there was some kind of vinyl i guess? that had it and it turned out very well and i deff got further then the big deuce. The next one will be very sick with a ton of house of kolor paint i just ordered a few cans of kandy lime gold and have had awsome results with the company that package any color you want from them in a spray can for a decent price. it will be done in a full sixtys theme with a hilborne injected small block im hoping to come across four chrome steelies for a decent price. and it will be on the same shelf as this one then across the room will be 2 dueces and on the third wall will be 2 big tubs it'll take awhile but will look awsome. stay tuned for the side exit exhaust where the silver paint is drying on the first side

Go too the grocery store and buy yourself a roll of GLAD brand "PRESS n SEAL" wrap.. The stuff works great!! Just make sure the area you plan on masking big t build up off is clean!! Use a Q-tip to burnish the wrap in the corners and areas you plan to mask off. Sharp wooden tooth picks big t build up work well also, but don't use to much pressure!! Use a new sharp # 11 Exacto blade with the handle to cut out the access to expose the area that's ready to be painted and your ready to shoot... The paint that is!!

    hi fiero
an other way to mask off small areas is to use liquid mask big t build up ( you can buy it in art-stores)
it`s the same like Metalflake spray-mask but in smaller bottles. You can apply it with a brush. It is water-based. It`s white when wet and clear when dry. You can cut it carefully with an X-acto and remove with a pin-wise.
    hope that helps.

hey guys ive been lurking havnt been posting much i ran out of steam on this car so i pulled the motor out took it apart and have been filling seams and detailing it and i have to say its coming out like an awsome blown small block. This car was coming out so-so since i rushed and and after working on this engine and putting hours and hours into it i decided to part the t bucket out and put the money towards something else to put this engine in. most likley another t or maby an iroc not sure yet so far the only thing that was sold were the wheels and tires. if you guys are looking for something pm me everything is pretty much new. i will consider a trade for a monogram pe62 engine kit without the blower,3 carb setup, and 4 barrel manifold(i need the carb) im not to concerned with the crank/pistons/etc but need everything else. i could add cash for a complete one with eveything. ill be starting another t when the engine is done and have some house of kolor tangelo pearl big t build up and kandy burple here already. also i really want the pe62 kit so i will also buy one outright, doesnt matter if its semi started/painted

    Hi Alex

I have to put on my moderators hat for a moment. A while back Dan put a ton of effort into re-configuring the site. Part of what he did was to create a "Marketplace" section where we can sell our stuff. This was done so that our threads would not become garage sale area's. We encourage our members to buy and sell, but please do so in the appropriate area.

    Thanks!
