A question for you veterans.... I have searched the forum here but found nothing about a 1934 Ford 3 window Coupe project. Years ago there was a guy who made a 3 and 5 window 32 Ford coupe but heard he died.

I am wondering if any resin 1934 Ford 3 window Coupe resin body/fenders?? bodys exist or are in the works. thanks

nascarbroncosfan, I can understand you burning desires for the California Kid. I only live about 15 miles from Pete and Jake's shop in Missouri and frequently stop over there and do the droooooooooolllllll thing, when the Kid is not on the road. It along with the Jakes car is usually in their main show room, so having access to it is usually not a problem.
I too have a passion for doing the "Kid", but I doubt that I'll ever do it, as I have other other projects with higher priorities in mind for myself and for the MF line of bodies.
Like you, I also have an interest in R-C street rods, as evidenced by my highly modified
'32 three window I dubbed " Ratz' Rod" , for obvious reasons. It is somewhat a tribute to Ed Big Daddy Roth. I take it to car shows and cruise nights, just to show folks there is another side to the model car hobby, besides shelf models.
Hope you enjoy the ride here on SMC and looking forward to seeing your projects.

I recieved an email from Jason Slover at www.peteandjakes.com stating that I was going to get '34 chassis drawings from his hotrod shop. Who do I send them to if anyone?

I dont know how complete they are or how complete they will be.

Steve Frisbee is the owner of
Steve's Auto Restorations - Home and has been asked about mechanical drawings of a 34 body, no reponse as of yet.

to Jason Slover at www.peteandjakes.com Thanks.

If you or anyone knows where I can get four to eight pieces of an rc car chrome plated as prototype let me know.

(tapping fingers on the desk waiting for the 34 chopped 3 window)..... ...... ..... ......
These guys might be able to help:

Chrome tech usa, Chrome plating service, vacuum metallizing, for plastic on model cars, toys and automotive interior dash pannels.

They ain't cheap and I would have absolutely no filler, primer 1934 Ford 3 window Coupe resin body/fenders?? , etc. on your prototypes. They'll tell you this also.

And you need to have the absolutely best finish on your parts that you can.
