I was cruising through another site and found this. Like the Deuce, the T has been done every whichway. Then, you see something like this and the T gets exciting again. We don't see many Model T builds here so thought I'd post the drawing.

If we have any T fans out there, speak up and Don will set up a page on the Forum for you.

Oooooh get him to join, get him to join. Talk about getting some real education. That would be outrageous. X 1,000,000

  2. The only problem is Darryl realy does not compute! Donna does all the website stuff for the Hall of fame. Mr. S Just does what he does best BANG TIN!! It is cool though if he is out working in his shop you can go right out there and chew the fat with him and he will show you how it's done! No fancy tools just hammers torches, welder and LOTS of conduit! Amazing! I will give Donna the site address when we are at the show. Here are a couple of picks Re-working The T of him bangin away on the clone of the Monster garage Caddy. He was on the show twice With the Cad and he did the last Monster Garage with the killer ford wagon. Jesse was not even on the last episode.

I hope he does come on to the site even just for a looksee. I'd love for him to see what we've all done with his creation. If it weren't for his Big Deuce creation, I don't think this site would have existed. True, we build way more than large scale deuces and T's on the site but it seems that's where we started out.

  4. Trust Me He knows whats goin on in 1/8! I'll see if I can get him on for a looksee. I think he is going to have a big surprize for anyone who has ever built any of his kits large or small this year. Hang on guys he is restoreing the LiL' Coffin back to it's orig. form! That car has been through alot in the past 50 years! First it was hacked into the Monkey Ward Express then the top was totaly cut off then it caught on fire and burned then he built a 4seater removeable hardtop out of it with a bb.chev in it. Now he is returning it as the car we all know and love hemi 6carbs I cannot wait! Hope Mr. Bones makes it by for a visit!

HE'S RESTORING THE LIL' COFFIN TO THE ORIGINAL SPECS??? WITH THE WHITEWALLS AND EVERYTHING??? That's someof the best news I've heard yet. I saw that beauty at the 64 World's Fair and I've loved it ever since. Wouldn't it be great if he let you crawl around on that thing taking pictures. If it's not possible, well, that's o.k. too. Just knowing that it will exist again is good enough for me.

That’s great that Darryl lets people back into the shop to look and take pictures, sure sounds like he’s still an average guy!

If you ever get a chance to stop back in his shop and see Li’l Coffin, I would sure appreciate whatever photos you could get, especially if it’s possible to get any of the chassis and suspension. I am slowly drawing one up in 1/8 scale mostly using the 1/25 kit as a guide, but I am trying to back as much up as I possibly can with photos since I don’t know how accurate the 1/25 kit is.

I would like to do the early version of the Coffin with the four bucket seats and the unique upholstery, that’s only if I can find enough photos to verify what the sides of the interior were like at that point and what ran between the seats, whether it was just the transmission tunnel or whether there was some kind of center consol all the way back? I doubt there’s a photo of the headliner. If I can’t find enough information, call just use the later interior that the kit has.
