This is my custom big t build . Here's the semi complete engine with resin official tbucket build with pics manifold ,hooker headers painted to look like jet hot official tbucket build with pics ceramic,lt1 vette/z28 valve covers ,custom paint ,chrome oil filter from pe62 kit,I have an old big deuce chrome starter I adapted .

Once I track down chrome pullys and a blower I'll finish so if you have or know someone pleassse let me know .
I also need 2 rear slicks I prefer black wall of m&h racemasters but any slick is fine ,2 narrow front tires, either 2 big deuce narrow front steel wheels or 2 or 4 5 spoke rims. 4 Metal exhaust tips and two coilover shocks. Thats it for now BUT THE BLOWER/Pullys and water pump are the most important and needed asap

Don garret motivated me to go outside my comfort zone which is just using parts from different kits not modded stuff . I boxed the rear coilover cross member and also the transmission cross member they were both hollow but they look 100x better . I'll post pics when the paint dries

This will be a slow build as I'm out of work due to severe chronic back pain(im only 20 =[) and my sports wheelchair with a ton of camber doesn't fit most local open jobs.

So my parts are funded by a little eBay work, trading for what I need and a major part that helps alot is donation of parts so if you can help it's very much appreciated

    Please post comments and opinions

You're off to a great start big guy.......I'll dig around and see if I can help you out with some of what you're looking for, I'm a bit behind on sending stuff out but I'll catch up soon. As I said the engine looks good but one suggestion that will give you a better looking model would be to sand official tbucket build with pics (and fill if needed) that parting line on the trans case (same with the oil pan). It's a small thing granted, but it makes a big difference when you take the time to detail out this stuff.
You might also consider adding a dip stick. It could be as simple as a piece of wire with a little of the insulation stripped off one end. Bend the exposed wire around a toothpick or something to form the finger loop and with very little effort & bit of paint.....you've taken your first step toward scratch-building....easy, huh?

Thanks :) I was gonna fill the line I just didn't wanna chance it. But I have original block, heads with molded spark plugs instead of holes like the new ones, oil pan with bolt heads ,fuel pump, realistic timing chain cover and I have another in the mail but not sure on the condition. I'm gonna build that as a spare and if I like it better I'll swap everything over.
boxing the cross members made a huge difference they looked fake hollow . I used loctite epoxy official tbucket build with pics putty official tbucket build with pics that stuff is perfect it doesn't shrink .

if you have any of the parts I need let me know even if its just parts of a blower,1 wheel etc I can always find the matching stuff

Im aiming for a 60s style build it should look cool when its done

also is there a place that anyone has worked with to do chrome plating on plastic either just a few pieces or in bulk? I'd love to get a frame/anything that's not plated official tbucket build with pics on the frame and suspension such as steering column and some other stuff chromed and some pieces rechromed as they have bare spots from hanging on the parts tree official tbucket build with pics

Try Bob at Chrome Tech for getting your parts chromed. A little pricy as I recall (haven't used him in awhile) - but they do a great job. Far superior to kit chrome.
Chrome tech usa, Chrome plating service, vacuum metallizing, for plastic on model cars, toys and automotive interior dash pannels.

Regarding the parts that have bare spots from being cut off the sprues, you might try cutting off the scab stuff on the part with a sharp Exacto knife. You can't sand official tbucket build with pics it off because you might scratch the chrome. Then just touch up the non-chromed areas with silver paint. As long as the area where it was attached to the sprue official tbucket build with pics is located where it's not that noticeable you should be okay.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing your prohgress.

Thanks im usually the basic mix and match parts type but im doing some custom stuff boxed crossmembers, custom exhaust with quad tips running outside the frame and exiting under doors with chrome deuce mufflers I think that's how I'll do it. But paint is my passion and where my models and cars come alive =)

Although im still looking for(incase this falls through ) and would prefer a whole one but seems noone here has one , if you guys dont does anyone at least have , chrome condition doesn't matter its in the order I need them the most.
