The Mad Fab 80s sprinter is almost complete and I shelved the F1 T Bucket until I get inspiration to finish it. Don Edmunds offers plans and a cut away of his Offy midget from the 60s, along with his super and sprinter from that era. So I'm going to buy the midget plans, they're cool and there has been discussion about midgets before. I would like to build this car and take the time to show how I build this from scratch. it is a lot of stopping and picture taking and I would gladly do that if you guys are interested in this. Just let me know, I'm ordering the plans today and will start in the next few weeks. 1/8 scale, 110 cu.in. Offy in a cage-less 4 bar chassis. I think I can make this a killer project. A some point we need to decide what historical midget it should look like when it comes to painting and all that. However, if you've seen enough of the circle track stuff, I understand. Ken

I finally got her up on four wheels. I made these with PVC pipe just like the other ones I posted earlier. These are pavement tires as we are still working on making dirt tires( Grooved) for these midgets. I've done more body work so the nose, side panels, hood and tail are all separate bolt on pieces.

Okay this thing is almost race ready except for a seat cover. I think it turned out pretty good. I've got some cool numbers coming but could use help on some lettering and maybe a USAC decal Article: Re: Edmunds Offy Midget or two. I hope you all like this and have enjoyed watching it get built. I learn with every car I get built and have appreciated all your comments along the way. Ken

I tried some tape for a seat cover and now have a pattern for some kind of material.

Finally got some numbers and decals for this midget and thought you all would like to see it completed. This has been a fun thread to do and thank you for allowing me to do this. Ken

I would love to build a quarter scale Edmunds midget 4 bar if you have the plans.

    Regards

That would be a great looking racer in 1/4 scale. Google in Don Edmunds and he has a site where those plans are available. I'd love to see this if you start building one.
