Hot Rod or Art Deco

Rick ol' buddy........you know darned well that this ol' fart appreciates anything on wheels but my tastes tend to be centered in the nostalgia pure hot rod arena with the occasional goof ball thrown in for good measure.

However, your approach to something a bit more modern and artsy fartsy while retaining that retro rod look is spot on as far as where today's hot rods are headed....these cars actually turn corners and stop. They are comfy to drive and make a statement at the same time.

Instead of following Posie's (or anyone else) lead goes.....why don't you just build a model that blows your skirt up. Build it the way you would if it was a full size driver that would suit Rick's personal tastes and your idea of what a hot rod should be....Rick's Ride! Yeah buddy, if you want 26" wheels and air bags.....do it. I won't pick on you (maybe just a little).

Rick, I agree with Dan about him being an old fart. And he's right that you should build what you like assuming that you like what I like. And I like Art Deco so that's what you should do. Also, if you have a picture of you in a skirt (being blown up or just laying there) then you should post it immediately!

So Rick I agree that you should build that thing as if it were real and you were going to drive it. I spent my teen years on the California coast in the 60s so I really like the traditional hot rod Woody. I must say, though, that those Deco ones are way cool; I've never seen one before. The low roof line is an eye catcher. Andy; were you a First Sargent in the military, buddy? Your people skills sure remind me of a few I had. LOL.(Just kidding)

Must have been my good looks or perhaps at 5' 5" they figured I'd make a small target.

Yea, but you were Army, Airborne the real guys. I was Army and 6'2'' and in artillery so no tunnels, very lucky.
