Alrighty then !!! You finally got one Guido. You're going to have a blast working on that one. The flames I think are just stickers. They may be stuck on really tight so you might have to sand '41 Willys coupe them off. I haven't even come close to working on mine yet.

Maybe some straight alcohol '41 Willys coupe er Windex would do the trick. There's some stuff called "Goop be gone" that works also. You can pick that up at any hardware store.

You may have a different version than I do....but the flames look like they may have been printed on...if so, sanding '41 Willys coupe is probably the best bet....it's got a few sinks that should be filled anyway. I'll fool with mine a bit this weekend if I get a chance, I'm going to be sanding '41 Willys coupe mine anyway so I could test a few cleaners to see what happens.

I've been having problems with my hard drive losing data......major bummer, so if I'm off line few a bit I'm trying to salavage what I can before I replace the hard drive and have to reload everything.

Looks like someone nabbed that one also. I hope it was one of our members. I plan on doing the same Don. All that "pimp my ride" garbage (junk in the trunk) has got to go!! In it's place is going to be filled with a roll bar, mini wheel tubs, battery, etc.

I'm glad you were able to score the Willys Guido....sharpen up your scratch building skills you're gonna need 'em. You using a 426 Hemi? I have the street version, haven't been able to get my hands on a blown version yet......when Wally World has 'em they are only about 25 bucks.
Hobby Lobby sells them as soon as they get them. I may scratch build '41 Willys coupe a 392 block but I could use some of the parts from the revell '41 Willys coupe engines.
The front wheels scale out close to 15" but the rears are way too large.
The interior is actually kinda nice but belongs in a bling car.
The body is really sweet.....looks good right out of the box......it isn't one of those out of proportion cartoon cars.
    Have a blast with it.

I have the Revell '41 Willys coupe supercharged 426 that's half built. I may use that or the AMT '41 Willys coupe 283 Fuelie. I'll have to dig into the Willys once it comes in. I've seen the "body off" pics that you posted awhile back... Any chance you could post the top and bottom of the chassis for me please. Thanks in advance!!

I'm not sure which engine I'm putting in mine. I know it won't be the Chevies, but I think I'll use something different than the hemis since you guys are going to do that. I want it to be something unique, something you don't see every day. What's the definition of the word unique you may say? It's like when you want to catch a wabbit. Unique up on him so you don't scare him away.

One of those big Ford cammers with fuel injection instead of a blower (looks cool as all get out but trust me....not streetable) would be cool.
If you really want to push the envelope how 'bout a big Jimmy 292 in-line 6 cylinder or a 300 inch in-line Ford with multiple cabs? Yeah, they showed up at the Sat. night races back in the day too.
500 cubic inch Caddy? I'm not even going to mention Pro-Street 'cause it really doesn't fit your character, Hee, Hee.
Okay 'nuff fooling' around.....If you want a "real" challenge with "no crowd appeal" other than hard core builders.....(long term project) try this.

A completely stone stock '41 Willy coupe. Yes there was such a thing....it was the poor man's Ford coupe.
