I am hopefully going to start on the license plate, sometime over the weekend, as I am going to try self adhesive labels.

See if you can get the kind of stickies that are vinyl. It may make it a bit easier to do. If you can't get it, or you like this better, after you've made the paper plate, get a really thin piece of acetate plastic sheet, make a little frame for the plate and cover the plate with the acetate. That way, you won't know it's paper. Another way is to shoot clear lacquer over the paper to make it shiny like a real plate. If you want to make a plate for the U.S., you can even emboss the letters from the back.

I didn't know you were building a Shelby-inspired hot rod. My niece Jaime vacationed in London with Mr. & Mrs. Shelby this last summer.

My new rat rod project, will feature a supercharged flathead. I'd better start looking at my flathead book, especially the part which concerns the supercharger.
