]Here is a conversion based on a wheel from a Hot more 1/6 wheels Wheels collector series.
The wheel as it comes from the Hot more 1/6 wheels Wheels package is 3 1/2" (88mm) in diameter.

I can't get images to load, no good continuing with this thread.

Whodaky....another solution would be to go back to photobucket and change the word BIG to big or something.....it's the back slash B in the photo code that's pulling up the smiley.

Deuces, no that is not a 1/6th wheel, it is bigger.
It is a wheel from a Hot more 1/6 wheels Wheels special series pack. The pack contains one regular size hot more 1/6 wheels Wheels and that wheel is included. The wheel measures 3 1/2" (88 mm) in diameter.
It is the basis for a 1/6th wheel tech to follow. geoff aka whodaky
Here are 2 views of the wheel straight from the package

To convert this big wheel to 1/6th I cut the centre out trim it to suit a smaller size rim. This rim was made using the yoyos I mentioned in my other 1/6th wheel tech. Geoff aka whodaky

As another detail I wanted another 'step' in the rim to give it more the look of the real American 5 spoke. I did this by rolling a piece of 1.2 mm aluminium TIG wire to fit into the rim then with centre in the rim I put this rolled piece of wire in and got the look I wanted.
As I only have the front half of the rim in these images I would probably do this 'stepped piece' differently when I fit the rear of the rim to complete the 1/6th wheel! Also the white wall should be painted right up to the rim for the correct look!

Oh by the way, did I mention I love 5 spokes. Got a whole bunch of real one's too

That looks fantastic. I thought it was a real one myself. It looks like the perfect solution. I'd love to see it painted like an unpolished mag.

Geoff...I'll get these Willys wheels out to you Tues. The fronts scale to 15" the rears are ridiculous but I'll send 'em any way. See what you can do with them if you would......they look like they might be a good starting point for a master. I would like to see the center section removable to leave the door open for other styles...perhaps a 12 spoker, just a thought. Shoot by the time we are done foolin' with this stuff we may even get other guys interested in 1/6th, I'm havin' a ball with it. Not much competition on the field for the big kid rides. Don't mind me...I think it's senility setting in.
