        I live on the east coast here in Australia, near Melbourne. I have family on the west coast here in Perth. On my travels to Perth over the last 25 years I have made many firends there, a lot of them model builders. This last few years I have been going over to attend a model show run by my very good friends Ute and Alan Barton. A number of years ago in association with this show I got to meet and make friend's with a guy called Alan Bunter. At the show a couple of years ago Alan Bunter had the Big Deuce on display that is seen in the below images. At this show I also striped the deck lid of this model, but can't lay my hands on the image of that striping.

      Your friend's Deuce is one mean machine. The great thing about the internet is car nuts all over the world can shoot the breeze about this wonderful hobby. I personally enjoy the fact that hot Alan Bunter's big Deuce rodding is so popular in Australia.
      I've seen some wild rods from down under on the Webshots site. Before I forget, your striping work is amazing! John (aka Flathead)

      Hey Geoff, you go ahead and post as many times as you want. That's what this site is all about. We can learn a great deal from you. If you know a bunch more builders who love the big scale stuff, invite them to join. There's a lot of talent floating around the world.

      Oooooh I almost forgot, Geoff. I see where you had to do a duplicate post. Don't sweat the small stuff. I'll take care of that for you. This way all the replies will be channeled into the one thread so they won't get lost. I'd still love to see more of your striping technique. I started practicing my technique. I make great wiggly lines. The only problem is I try to make straight ones.
