Nice work on the SWC Willys... The color reminds of the early light blue version '41 gasser... Some of us here have a BIG 1/6 scale RC bodies that we're messin' with.. I'm still looking into some ideas for a "stock" gasser chassis buildup for mine..

So far, just the body... The RC car was stripped of all the stuff I won't use on the build.... Like the RC chassis, the junk that was in the trunk like a boom box and speakers..

You're right about that, M. I've got one of those also in red. It comes with a blower and Hillborn scoop but they're so out of scale, it makes the car look ridiculous. Plus it has that plastic looking chrome plating. The good thing about this model is that if you can find one, it shouldn't be that expensive and it really has tons of potential for superdetailing if you're comfortable with scratchbuilding which isn't really as difficult as it looks. Whenever I get to mine, I'm going to convert it to more of a mild custom in medium to light metallic blue with a white and blue leather upholstered interior. Hopefully I can scratchbuild some body colored steelies with beauty rings and some baby moons holding up some wide whites.

Got mine off of ebay "new" for only $19.95 ...... That's about the price of a 1/25 scale 2n' 1 Revell kit now days... I got this one little over 2 years ago.. It did cost 20 bucks to ship it though.... Still, it was a great deal I couldn't pass up.
